Mike Rusnak Actor
Mike Rusnak has been acting one way or another most of his life. Participating in many theatrical productions throughout his School Years.
After a lengthy musician road trip across the US and Canada, Mike settled down in Central Florida and worked in local television and radio in a variety of positions: including air personality, announcer, news director and reporter, producer and commercial production.
Mike worked for Orange County Public Schools for over 25 years as a Driver/Trainer with a wide range of responsibilities. Working in training required road training as well as classroom training ( He is a certified FDOE Classroom Trainer ). Duties also included various video and Voice Over Projects along with curriculum writing.
Mike is a member of the OIF Central Florida group posting multiple Independent Films. He is working continuously to hone his craft through a variety of sources. He is a member of T2TC Adult Workshop.

Mike Rusnak Musician
Having started playing in Garage Bands around 1965 in the Philly Area, his love of performing took off.
When his family moved to Florida in 1967, Mike quickly started playing around the Spacecoast.
After several years touring throughout the US and Canada with one of ABC Miami/New York’s Top Musical Acts, he returned to call Central Florida Home !!!
Currently, you can catch Mike playing and singing Sundays at Maitland Presbyterian Church in the 9:30 Contemporary Praise Band. He also plays as needed at Sts Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in their 5:30 Praise Band. Mike also leads his own Praise Band - The Heart Of Worship Praise Band, playing throughout Central Florida.
He is a member of the highly acclaimed 9th Street Jazz Company, playing electric and upright Bass and occasionally singing.
Mike plays with several other Bands ranging from Duos to much larger bands.
A well rounded musician, Mike plays everything from Christian to Jazz, from Rock to Blues, from R&B to Country and Country Rock to name a few. You’ll even find him playing Bluegrass and Irish music.
Mike is available for sub work, Special Functions and Pit or Concert work.

Mike was the first Licensed Mobile DJ in Central Florida back in 1975.
He was the official Mobile DJ of BJ-105 Radio, Stars Hall of Fame, Wet N’ Wild and several other major attractions.
Mike spent 20 plus years DJ-ing for Major Conventions and Corporate Events throughout Central Florida’s biggest Hotels and Theme Parks. He has literally performed live in front of Millions of people !!!
He was chosen to provide the music for a private end of Tour party for Whitney Houston here in Lake Buena Vista. He was also chosen to provide the party music for a Halfway Party for the cast and crew of Jaws III when It filmed at Sea World.
At one time, he kept 8 units busy throughout the area with the Navy Base and Annex, Local Attractions and a variety of public and private functions.
Now, he works occasionally for former clients and referral engagements: Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthday Parties and various private or public events.

Mike started doing Sing-A-Longs back in the late 1960’s in Cocoa Beach, joining the Honky Tonk Piano player at Shakey’s Pizza On Bass and Vocals. He had such a great time !!
When he had the opportunity to join Chuck Graham and start playing the old Sing-A-Long music again in the late 1990’s he didn’t hesitate.
The band consisted of Piano, Bass, Sax and Vocals. Usually a 4 piece, with Mike singing and occasionally playing Bass.
Ultimately it became Chuck and Mike, known as ”Chuck’s Sing-A-Long”
After Chuck retired from the band several years ago, Mike asked the keyboard player from their Corporate Jazz Band, 9th Street Jazz Co, to join him, and the rest is history.
